One of Jyoti’s first enterprises, Holy Himalaya Eco Trek (formerly Eco Trek) is Nepal’s premier trekking and tour operator, establishing and coordinating trips all over South Asia since 1992.
Hotel Holy Himalaya
First opened in 2007, HHH was created with the intention of filling gaps identified over a decade in tourism. This has continually raised and set the standards of hygiene, amenity provision and food quality in Nepali hotels, even by just providing basic things like bottled water.
Tiny Seeds Preschool
What began as Jyoti’s desire to directly contribute to his community in Kathmandu, was realized with the help of a team of teachers from Telluride, Colorado. Early childhood education received little focus, and the initiative responded to a pressing need. Tiny Seeds’ success has since helped spark the growth of hundreds of preschools following similar educational models.
